Camp Chris Williams 2016 is a week-long camp for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Youth, ages 11-17, August 7-13, 2016.
NEW this year: Campers can be from surrounding Great Lake States, and not limited to Michigan residents. Partnering with National Technical Institute for the Deaf/Rochester Institute of Technology. (NTID/RIT)
Camp Chris Williams 2016 is promoting a way to Explore Health Care Careers. Campers will learn about all kinds of Health Occupations: There will be an opportunity to meet or learn about REAL Deaf or Hard of Hearing: Doctors, Nurses, Veterinarians, Medical & Veterinary Technicians, Nutritionist, Nurses Aids, Medical office managers, Radiologists, Medical Researchers, Psychologists and More! Learn about the many assistive technologies available that they use to succeed in their careers.
$400 fee registration, until May 1st, or camp fills up. $450 Late Registration after May 1, 2016, if space permits.
Registration IS on-line ONLY. A nominal deposit is required at the time of registration, and payment plans are available. All fees must be paid by July 15, 2016. If you are seeking a scholarship, make sure they know this date. They may pay the balance direct to the Coalition. Email email@example.com for more information.

Scholarhips: Families needing financial assistance. Check with local service Clubs, (Camp Chris & Camp T where started by Lions Clubs, so we suggest you start there.) The vast majority of campers receive scholarships from their local Lions clubs. :-) To sign up, you may pay a deposit to hold your spot, $50-$100. It may be easier for families to receive scholarships if the funders know they are paying for part of the cost.
